Generosity Funeral Care

Dignity in every farewell. Compassion for every family.
Losing someone we love is one of the most difficult experiences in life. At a time of grief, families can also
face the practical, financial and emotional challenges of arranging a funeral.
Generosity Funeral Care is a community-focused initiative of Generosity Foundation Club designed to
support individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship or difficulty accessing appropriate
funeral services.
Our aim is to help families arrange a dignified, respectful and compassionate farewell for their loved ones,
while recognising their cultural, religious, personal and individual wishes.
More Than a Funeral Service
A funeral is not simply a service. It is an important part of saying goodbye, remembering a life and supporting
those who are grieving.
Generosity Funeral Care aims to make this difficult time easier by providing compassionate guidance and
practical support to families who may otherwise struggle to meet the costs or arrangements associated with a
funeral.
We seek to work with families, relevant service providers, cemetery and crematorium trusts, community
organisations and other partners to help create an appropriate farewell for every individual.

Our Support
Funeral Assistance
We aim to assist eligible families experiencing genuine financial hardship with appropriate funeral
arrangements and support.
Dignified Funeral Services
We aim to provide access to respectful and professionally arranged funeral services, including burial, cremation
and other appropriate arrangements.
Cultural & Faith Considerations
Every family has its own traditions, beliefs and wishes. We seek to respect cultural, religious and personal
preferences when supporting funeral arrangements.
Guidance & Coordination
During a difficult time, families can need help understanding what needs to happen next. We aim to provide
practical guidance and coordinate relevant funeral arrangements and services.
Support for Families
Our focus extends beyond the funeral itself. Where appropriate, we aim to connect families with community
and support services that may assist them during the period following their loss.
Our Philosophy
We believe that every person deserves dignity, and every family deserves compassionate support.
Financial hardship should not prevent a family from giving their loved one a respectful farewell.

Generosity Funeral Care seeks to bring together professional funeral services, community support and
charitable assistance to help families through one of life’s most difficult moments.
A Dignified Farewell
Whether a family requires burial, cremation, a religious or non-religious ceremony, or another culturally or
personally appropriate arrangement, our aim is to help families navigate the process with dignity,
understanding and care.
Listen. Support. Respect. Care.
From the first conversation with a family to the funeral and appropriate follow-up support, Generosity Funeral
Care aims to provide a compassionate pathway through a difficult time.
Our Aim
To help families experiencing hardship provide their loved ones with a dignified farewell, while offering
compassionate support, practical guidance and respect for every person’s belief, culture and wishes.
Generosity Funeral Care is subject to eligibility, service availability and applicable Victorian laws and
regulatory requirements. Specific services, costs and eligibility will be confirmed with each family before
arrangements are made.

Generosity Life Partners

Connecting people. Building relationships. Creating futures.
Finding someone to share your life with is one of the most important decisions a person can make.
Generosity Life Partners is a community initiative of Generosity Foundation Club designed to support people
who are looking for a meaningful, committed life partnership and want to build a positive future together.
We help people connect with suitable potential partners while providing guidance and relationship education to
help couples better understand each other, prepare for marriage and build a healthy, respectful and sustainable
life together.
More Than Finding a Partner
A meaningful relationship is about more than meeting someone.
It is about understanding each other’s values, expectations, responsibilities, aspirations and future goals.
Through Generosity Life Partners, we aim to create a supportive pathway from meeting a potential partner,
to building understanding, preparing for marriage and developing a positive family and community life

Our Support
Partner Connections
We provide opportunities for individuals seeking a genuine, long-term relationship to connect with suitable
potential partners based on their preferences, values, expectations and future aspirations.
Relationship Guidance
We provide educational and counselling support to help individuals understand communication, compatibility,
trust, respect, responsibilities and the realities of building a life together.
Pre-Marriage Preparation
Couples considering engagement or marriage can access guidance around important areas of married life,
including communication, finances, careers, children, family expectations, cultural differences and future
planning.
Building a Strong Relationship

Our programs encourage couples to develop the skills needed to communicate openly, manage differences
respectfully, support one another and grow together through different stages of life.
Family & Community Life
Strong relationships can contribute to stronger families and healthier communities. We encourage couples to
build positive family relationships and participate constructively in Australian community life.
Our Philosophy
We believe that finding a life partner is only the beginning.
A lasting relationship requires understanding, communication, respect, trust, responsibility and a shared
commitment to the future.
Generosity Life Partners therefore focuses not only on helping people meet, but also on helping them prepare
for and understand the journey ahead.
A Journey Towards a Shared Future
Connect. Understand. Prepare. Grow.
From the first introduction to the early stages of married life, Generosity Life Partners aims to provide people
with a respectful, supportive and educational pathway towards building meaningful relationships and positive
futures.
Our Aim
To help people build meaningful partnerships, stronger families and positive futures within the
Australian community.
Generosity Life Partners provides opportunities, education and support. Individuals remain responsible for
their own relationship decisions, and no introduction or program can guarantee compatibility, engagement or
marriage.

Generosity Faith & Values

Understanding faith. Learning values. Building a better community.
Faith and values can play an important role in how people understand life, develop compassion and treat one
another.
Generosity Faith & Values is a community education initiative designed to provide people with opportunities
to learn about religious teachings, values and traditions from knowledgeable and experienced volunteers.
Our aim is to create a respectful environment where people can learn, ask questions and develop a better
understanding of different faith traditions — whether they follow a religion, are exploring their own beliefs, or
simply wish to understand the beliefs of others.Learning From Every Faith
We believe that people can learn valuable lessons from the teachings, traditions and ethical principles of
different religions.
Many faith traditions encourage values such as compassion, kindness, honesty, generosity, respect,
forgiveness, service to others and responsibility towards the community.
Through our volunteer-led educational programs, we aim to make religious and values-based knowledge more
accessible to people who wish to learn.
Our Support

Religious & Values Education
Experienced volunteers with appropriate knowledge and experience can provide educational sessions about
religious teachings, traditions, values and principles.
Learning Across Faiths
Where appropriate and where suitable volunteers are available, we aim to provide opportunities for people to
learn about different religious traditions and their teachings.
Personal Development
Faith and values can provide people with opportunities for reflection, understanding, purpose and personal
growth. Our programs encourage participants to explore these areas respectfully.
Understanding One Another
Learning about different faiths can help people better understand their neighbours, colleagues, friends and
communities, particularly in Australia’s multicultural society.
Community & Humanitarian Values
We encourage values that contribute to respectful relationships, compassion, service and positive participation
in the community.
Our Philosophy
We believe that learning can help people understand themselves, understand others and contribute positively to
society.
We also recognise that Australia is a diverse community made up of people from many religious, cultural and
personal backgrounds.
Our purpose is not to promote one faith over another. Instead, we aim to create opportunities for respectful
learning, understanding and dialogue, while allowing individuals to make their own decisions about their
beliefs and values

Growing Together
We believe that a stronger community can be built when people have opportunities to learn, understand and
respect one another.
Through our volunteers, educational sessions and community activities, Generosity aims to support people in
developing positive values and a deeper understanding of their own beliefs and the beliefs of others.
Learn. Understand. Reflect. Respect.
Our Aim
To make meaningful knowledge about faith, values and human responsibility accessible to the
community, while encouraging respect, compassion, understanding and positive participation in
Australian society.
Programs are educational and community-focused. Participation is voluntary, and individuals are free to make
their own decisions about their beliefs, values and faith.

Generosity Care, Companionship & Independence

Standing beside people. Building connection. Supporting independence.
Everyone deserves to feel valued, supported and connected to their community

Generosity Care, Companionship & Independence is a community initiative of Generosity Foundation Club
designed to provide companionship, practical support, encouragement and meaningful community connection
to people who may experience vulnerability, isolation, disadvantage or barriers to independence.
Our focus includes orphaned and vulnerable children, older people, people living with disability, and women
rebuilding their independence and confidence.
More Than Practical Assistance
Support is not always about providing financial or material assistance.
Sometimes, people need someone to listen, someone to talk to, encouragement to participate, help to connect
with their community, or support while they take steps towards greater independence.
Generosity aims to create opportunities for people to feel included, respected and connected while maintaining
their dignity, choice and independence.
Our Support
Companionship & Social Connection
We aim to create safe and appropriate opportunities for people who may experience loneliness or social
isolation to connect with volunteers, community members and positive community activities.
Support for Older People
We aim to support older people through companionship, community participation, practical assistance and
opportunities to remain socially connected and engaged.
Support for People with Disability
We seek to encourage inclusion and participation by helping people with disability access appropriate
community activities, connections and opportunities according to their individual circumstances and choices.
Support for Orphaned & Vulnerable Children
We aim to provide appropriate companionship, mentoring, educational support and community connections for
children who have lost parental care or are experiencing significant disadvantage.

Women Rebuilding Independence
We aim to support women who are rebuilding their independence by providing encouragement, community
connections, information, mentoring and pathways to appropriate community resources and opportunities.
Community Participation
We encourage people to participate in suitable educational, cultural, recreational and community activities,
helping create meaningful connections and a greater sense of belonging.
Dignity, Choice & Independence
Our approach is based on the belief that support should strengthen people rather than create dependency.
Where possible, we aim to help people identify their own goals, understand their options and access appropriate
resources that can support their personal development and independence.
We respect that every person has different circumstances, abilities, experiences and aspirations.
Connecting People With the Community
Generosity aims to work with volunteers, community organisations, professionals and other appropriate
partners to create pathways to support.

Depending on individual circumstances, this may include connecting people with:
• Community activities

Educational opportunities
• Social and recreational programs
• Mentoring and companionship
• Disability and accessibility services
• Family and community support
• Employment and skills-development opportunities
• Government and community resources
• Other appropriate professional or support services
Our Approach
We believe that companionship can reduce isolation, connection can create belonging, and appropriate support
can help people move towards greater independence.
Our role is to listen, encourage, connect and support — while respecting each person’s dignity, choices, privacy
and individual circumstances.
Where professional, medical, psychological, legal or specialised support is required, we aim to connect
individuals with appropriately qualified services rather than attempting to replace them.

Building a More Inclusive Community
A strong community makes space for everyone.
Through volunteers, community partnerships, educational activities and meaningful participation, Generosity
aims to create opportunities for people who may otherwise experience isolation, disadvantage or barriers to
participation.
We want people to know that they are not alone, their contribution matters, and support is available.
Care. Connect. Support. Empower.
Our Aim
To provide compassionate companionship, meaningful community connection and practical support to
vulnerable and isolated people, including orphaned children, older people, people with disability and women
rebuilding their independence, while promoting dignity, inclusion, participation and personal empowerment.
Support is subject to available resources, individual circumstances, safeguarding requirements and
appropriate referral pathways. Generosity services do not replace professional health, disability, counselling,
legal or other specialised services where these are required

Generosity Community Empowering Program:

Learn what you need. Understand your responsibilities. Build with confidence.
Starting a job, volunteering, providing a service or establishing a business can be challenging when you do not
know what training, checks, registrations or requirements may apply.
Government information is often available online, but finding the right information, understanding the
requirements and knowing where to start can be difficult — particularly for people who are new to Australia or
unfamiliar with government systems.
Generosity Community Empowering Program is a community education initiative designed to help people
understand the practical knowledge, training, checks, registrations and resources that may be relevant to their
work, volunteering or business activities.
Turning Information Into Understanding
Our goal is not simply to tell people where information is available

We bring relevant information into an easy-to-understand learning environment through community classes,
information sessions and practical workshops.
Where appropriate, we help participants understand where they can access official government information and
available training, including courses or resources that may be free or subsidised.
What We Can Help You Understand
Depending on the needs of the community, our sessions may cover areas such as:
Working With Children
Understanding Working with Children Checks and when they may be required for employment or volunteering
involving children.
First Aid & CPR
Understanding the importance of first aid training, CPR and relevant workplace or community requirements.
Food Safety
Understanding food safety training and the responsibilities that may apply when working with or preparing
food.
Workplace Health & Safety
Learning about basic workplace health and safety responsibilities and where to access relevant training and
information.
Responsible Service & Industry Requirements
Understanding when specific training, licences, permits or certificates may be required for particular industries
or activities.
Volunteer Requirements
Helping volunteers understand common checks, training, responsibilities and organisational requirements.
Starting a Business
Introducing people to important areas to consider before starting a business, including registrations, licences,
insurance, taxation, workplace responsibilities and government resources.
Government & Community Resources
Helping people navigate official government portals and identify reliable information, services, training and
support that may be available to them.
Practical Community Classes
Our sessions are designed to be practical and easy to understand.
Rather than expecting people to search through multiple government websites and documents on their own, we
bring the information together in a classroom environment and explain:

  • What is it?
  • Why might I need it?
  • Who needs it?
  • Where do I get it?
  • How do I apply or enrol?
  • What does it cost?
  • What do I need to do next?

Where an official government course, portal or application is available, we aim to direct participants to the
official source rather than replacing the government provider or accredited training organisation.
Empowering People Through Knowledge
We believe that knowledge can create opportunity.
A person who understands the requirements of their industry can make better-informed decisions, prepare
properly and approach employment, volunteering or business opportunities with greater confidence.
Our aim is to make useful information accessible, understandable and practical for the community.
Our Philosophy
We do not believe that people should be disadvantaged simply because they do not know where to find
information.
Generosity aims to help bridge the gap between information and understanding.
Through community education, experienced volunteers and practical information sessions, we want to help
people become more confident in navigating Australian systems and developing their own opportunities.
Learn. Understand. Prepare. Empower.
Our Aim
To empower people with practical knowledge about the training, checks, registrations, responsibilities
and resources that can help them participate safely, confidently and productively in Australian
community and working life.
Generosity Community Empowering Program provides community education and information. Specific
requirements vary according to the person’s role, industry, location and circumstances. Participants will be
directed to relevant official government or accredited providers for applications, formal training, certification
and current requirements.

Generosity Community Enterprise & Small Business Support

Empowering people with knowledge, connections and opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods.
Generosity Community Enterprise & Small Business Support is a community initiative of Generosity
Foundation Club designed to help individuals, emerging entrepreneurs and small community enterprises
develop the knowledge, confidence and connections they need to participate positively in the Australian
community.
Many people have valuable skills, ideas and the motivation to establish a small business or community
enterprise, but may lack access to networks, practical information or people who can help them understand
where to begin.
Our aim is to help bridge that gap through community education, mentoring, networking and information
sharing.
Building Knowledge & Confidence
We believe that people can create positive change in their own lives when they have access to the right
knowledge, encouragement and community connections.
Our programs may help participants better understand areas such as:
• Starting and developing a small enterprise
• Identifying goals and establishing direction
• Understanding available government and community resources
• Developing practical business and workplace skills
• Building professional and community networks
• Understanding opportunities for training and development
• Connecting with relevant community organisations and support services
• Learning about responsible and sustainable approaches to enterprise
Community Connections
A strong community is built through people supporting, learning from and connecting with one another.
Generosity aims to create opportunities for participants to meet other community members, organisations,
mentors and relevant networks where appropriate.
Through community events, information sessions, networking activities and educational programs, we
aim to help people develop connections that may assist their personal, professional or enterprise development.
Mentoring & Guidance
Sometimes people do not need someone to run their business for them — they simply need guidance to
understand their options and identify their next step.
Our volunteer mentors and community contributors may share their knowledge, experience and practical
insights to help participants:
Understand. Plan. Connect. Develop.
The purpose is to encourage people to develop their own capabilities and make informed decisions about their
future.
Community Enterprise
We also encourage initiatives that can create broader community benefit — including social enterprises,
community projects, local initiatives and other productive activities that bring people together and contribute
positively to society.
Where appropriate, Generosity may provide opportunities for community enterprises and small businesses to
introduce themselves, participate in community activities and connect with other members of the
community.
Our Philosophy
We believe that empowerment begins with opportunity and knowledge.
When people have access to information, education, mentoring and meaningful community connections, they
can become more confident in developing their skills, pursuing productive opportunities and contributing to the
wider community.
Generosity does not seek to operate or manage people’s businesses. Instead, we aim to educate, encourage,
connect and empower people to develop their own capabilities.
Learn. Connect. Develop. Contribute.
Our Aim
To empower individuals and community enterprises through education, mentoring, networking and
access to information, helping people develop their capabilities and participate positively in the social
and economic life of the Australian community.
Generosity Community Enterprise & Small Business Support is a community education and empowerment
initiative. It does not provide regulated professional, financial, legal, taxation or investment advice, and
participation or promotional opportunities do not guarantee business success or financial outcomes.

workshops, group programs, cultural activities, recreational activities and community events.
Our aim is to create opportunities for people to come together, learn new skills, develop confidence, build
relationships and discover ways they can contribute positively to their community.
More Than an Event
Our activities are not simply organised for entertainment.
Each activity is designed to provide an opportunity for learning, participation, personal development,
teamwork, leadership or community connection.

together while developing skills that can be useful in their personal, social and community lives.

A community activity can provide an opportunity to learn how to:
Plan. Organise. Communicate. Cooperate. Lead. Solve problems. Contribute.
Participants may have opportunities to take part in organising activities under appropriate supervision, helping
them develop practical experience and confidence.
Creating Opportunities for Everyone
Generosity aims to make community participation accessible and welcoming.
Our programs may bring together people from different ages, cultures, backgrounds and experiences, creating
opportunities for people to learn from one another and develop stronger connections within the community.
Where appropriate, activities may also be designed to support people who experience social isolation,
disadvantage or barriers to participation.
Our Philosophy
We believe that an engaged community is a stronger community.
When people have opportunities to participate, learn and contribute, they can develop confidence, discover
their abilities and build meaningful connections with others.
Our activities therefore focus on participation with purpose — using community programs and events as a
practical way to support education, personal development, social connection and community wellbeing.
Participate. Learn. Connect. Contribute.
Our Aim
To create accessible opportunities for people to participate in community life, develop knowledge and
practical skills, build positive relationships and contribute to a stronger, more connected and capable
community.
Generosity Community Engagement & Development is a community education and participation initiative.

programs, cultural activities, recreational activities and events. Specific activities will be developed according
to community needs, available resources, safeguarding requirements and applicable laws.

learn, contribute and participate in community life.

• bringing people from different backgrounds together;

Where appropriate, experienced volunteers and community leaders may guide participants and encourage them
to take an active role in organising and supporting activities.
Building Cultural Harmony
Australia is a diverse community.
Generosity seeks to create opportunities for people from different cultural, religious and social backgrounds to
come together in a respectful environment.
Through shared activities, educational opportunities, volunteering and community participation, people can
develop greater understanding of one another and contribute to a more connected and harmonious community.
Encouraging Volunteerism

Our programs may provide opportunities for individuals to contribute their time, knowledge and skills to
community activities while developing their own practical experience, confidence and sense of community
responsibility.
Supporting Inclusion & Wellbeing
Our programs may particularly seek to create opportunities for people who experience social isolation,
disadvantage, limited community participation or barriers to accessing community activities.
The focus is on creating opportunities for people to:
Participate. Connect. Understand. Volunteer. Learn. Contribute.
Our Approach
Generosity aims to promote purposeful participation.
Activities are used as a practical platform for achieving broader community outcomes rather than being an end
in themselves.
We seek to create environments where people can meet others, learn about different cultures and perspectives,
volunteer, develop practical skills and contribute positively to their community.
Programs will be designed according to the Foundation’s charitable purposes, community needs and available
resources.
Our Aim
To promote social inclusion, community participation, volunteering, interfaith understanding and
cultural harmony by creating accessible opportunities for people to connect, learn, contribute and
participate positively in community life.
Activities are organised as a means of furthering the Foundation’s charitable purposes and are not intended to
operate as independent commercial, sporting or recreational clubs. Activities will be subject to appropriate
governance, risk management, safeguarding, insurance, environmental and other applicable requirements.

Community Partnerships & Cost-of-Living Support

Building community connections and creating access to practical support.
Generosity Foundation Club seeks to work collaboratively with local businesses, community organisations and
service providers to develop partnerships that can create practical opportunities and support for people within
the community.
Through these partnerships, participating businesses and organisations may choose to offer discounts,
concessions, special offers or other forms of assistance to eligible community members.
Our aim is to help improve access to useful goods, services, activities and community resources, particularly
for people experiencing financial pressure or other barriers to participation.
Our Approach
Generosity acts as a community connector, bringing together people, businesses and organisations that are
willing to contribute to the wellbeing of the wider community.
Partnership opportunities may include:
• Community discounts or concessions

Participation by businesses and organisations is voluntary. Any discounts, concessions or other offers are
determined by the participating provider and may be subject to eligibility, availability and applicable terms.

Where the Foundation is not the appropriate organisation to provide a particular form of assistance, we may
seek to connect individuals with relevant government, community, educational or professional services.
Our Aim
To provide practical relief, essential support, education, mentoring and development opportunities for
individuals and families experiencing hardship, disadvantage or crisis, while promoting dignity, participation,
personal development and greater independence.
Support is subject to available resources, individual circumstances, eligibility criteria and the Foundation’s
charitable purposes. The Foundation does not replace government services, professional advisers, emergency
services, medical services or other specialised support providers. Where appropriate, individuals may be
referred or connected to relevant qualified organisations and services.
